Think back to that time when you wereexperiencing emotional distress but could not confide in your friends or familydue to a lack of empathy, fear of judgment or the mental heath stigma or even feeling like you have spoke too much about your distress.

Talley is a peer to peer support platform, which provides a safe space to anonymously connect those experiencing emotional distress to everyday people who have experienced and/or overcome those same challenges. Connect with the ever-growing and welcoming Talley community, begina peer to peer conversation with a trained yet ‘human’ listener or join aTalleyTalk - an interactive group conversation with other members of the community and share your experiences on a mental health related topic that isdear to you.

Welcome to Talley’s Terms, please read theTerms carefully as they govern your use of the Talley platform. The Terms andPrivacy Policy are to be read in conjunction. By accessing or using our Site you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by theTerms and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with or cannot comply with the Terms and Privacy Policy, then you are not permitted to use the Talley service. 

These Terms explain how you may use the Site. If you have any questions about the Site, please contact us at here. No changes tothese Terms are valid or have any effect unless agreed by us in writing. Wereserve the right to vary these Terms from time to time. Our updated Terms willbe displayed on the Site and by continuing to use and access the Site following such changes, you agree to be bound by any variation made by us. ● “Terms” means the Terms and Conditions.
● “Talley”, “we”, “us” or “our” meansTalley App Ltd. The registered office of Talley App is at Talley International House 64, Nile Street, London, England, N1 7SR and its company registration number is 12854427.
● “You” or “Your” means the personaccessing or using the Site or its Content.
● “Content” means any text, images, video,audio or other multimedia content, software or other information or materialsubmitted to or on the Site;
● “Acceptable Use Policy” means the policy, which governs your permitted use of the Site.


Elegibility

You are not permitted to use this Site andcannot accept the Terms if:

(b) you are barred or otherwise legallyprohibited from using or accessing the Site under the laws of the country inwhich you are a resident.

Access to the site

The Site is for your personal andnon-commercial use only. You agree that you are solely responsible for keepingyour account details (if any) confidential. This Site is intended for use onlyby those who can access it from within the United Kingdom (“*UK*”) and as aresult is governed by the local laws of the UK. If you choose to access the Site from locations outside the UK, you are responsible for compliance withlocal laws where they are applicable. We seek to make the Site widely accessible. Our listening service offers on-demand andanonymous access to listeners who have been trained to adhere to Talley’sstandards. We endeavour to be the first port of call to support you inovercoming any emotional distress you are experiencing. If required, ourlisteners are trained to signpost you to other relevant mental health servicesvia our platform. Talley is not intended to replace professional support. Weaim to offer a safe place where you can express yourself and be heard, however,if you feel you need professional help or guidance you should speak to yourGP/medical professional.

Talley's Rules

Our community (which includes you and yournew Talley neighbours), is dear to us and we genuinely want everyone to gainthe most out of the safe space we are building. Therefore we require allneighbours to adhere to the rules we have put in place to ensure everyone’ssafety, and to encourage personal responsibility.  

You further agree to follow Talley’s rules: 

● you will not post third party or your products or services by way ofspam mail. This includes any unauthorised commercial communication;
● you will not impersonate anyone on our Site;
● you will not use any other person’saccount other than your own;
● you will refrain from posting inappropriate/triggering contentincluding, but not limited to, self-harm images, suicide-related images orother explicit content;
● you will not engage in threatening oroffensive language,  including, but notlimited to, homophobic, racist, ageist, sexist or sexually explicit language;
● you will endeavour to be non-judgmentalin your approach. All neighbours are equal human beings who deserve to beheard;
● you will not use the Site to conduct anyfraudulent activity;
● you will refrain from circulatingillegal, copyright infringing, indecent or otherwise offensive material;
● nothing in these Terms grants you anylegal rights in the Site other than as necessary to enable you to access theSite; and
● you agree not to adjust or try tocircumvent or delete any notices on the Site (including any intellectualproperty notices) and in particular in any digital rights or other security technology connected to the Site. 

Inappropriate behaviour will not betolerated. We reserve the right to remove you from our services if we deembehaviour to be inappropriate.
