Talley should not be used as a substitute for professional medical treatment
Whilst our Listeners are here to support and offer you the best experience, Talley listeners are not professionals. All listeners undertake training beforehand, but this training does not lead to any professional qualifications. If, at any point, you feel that you may need professional treatment, we suggest either calling 111 or visiting your GP.
ConfidentialityTalley remains a confidential service within legal and ethical limits. Whilst there is no legal obligation to report a crime, there remains a moral duty. Any crime reported to Talley will be reported to the police as Talley feels fit.
Talley does not offer adviceWhilst Talley listeners share, reflect, and even talk about their experiences, this should not be regarded or taken as life advice. Talley does not give advice and it is not a crisis service, nor is it professional counselling or psychotherapy.
